Posted: 28 Nov 2009 I only posted one message on here,quite some time ago,anyway,I was out doing my rabbit control thing last weekend and to my shame i shot a coney not quite clean enough so rushing to depach it as quick and humanely as possible i retrieved it from the hedgerow, in the process i found a sloughed skin from our friend natrix natrix,complete from head to tail,measures 4ft 6ins in old money,my boy took it to school for show and tell,l may never see it again  but i did see it, facinating. |

Posted: 30 Nov 2009 cool I read somewhere that you have to deduct approx 15% to allow for the skin stretching? - no idea whether this is true or not though? Paul
